First stop, Athens!
We were pretty happy!
Our neighborhood in Athens was gorgeous.
Delicious wine tasting in Athens
Early morning photos in Santorini
We took a night walking tour, which was a great way to learn about Oia!
See that brick building with the white square? Our private plunge pool was right under it!
Here’s that white sign from the photo before.
Views from our Airbnb. We stayed beneath Oia in Ammoudi Bay.
Our Airbnb were the top three windows
The plus side of staying in Ammoudi Bay is that delicious seafood restaurants on the water were only a few feet away.
Our Airbnb host arranged a dinner for us where we were boated to it!
Views from our sailing trip
The water was beautiful
We took a sailing boat instead of a catamaran which made for a very quiet experience!
People watching from our hotel in Paris!
We brought a manual Nikon camera with us
A quick lunch after the Louvre
Musée de l'Orangerie was our favorite museum in Paris
We rented e-bikes in Paris and were able to zip (safely!) around the city in no time. It was so much fun.
Views from the Eiffel Tower
Arc de Triomphe
Hobie got a little tired from the 72 hour sprint in Paris
Palace of Versailles’ gardens
We took a baking class
We stumbled across a bridge called Benezet — which is the name of the street I grew up on!
The view from our hotel in the South of France was incredible
We visited a vineyard in the South of France and ended up buying a bottle of wine with this little cutie on the label!
Vincent van Gogh spent one year in the mental hospital in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Despite his unstable mental health, he was very productive: he made about 150 paintings in a year, including Almond Blossom. And Van Gogh’s famous Starry Night is inspired by the views he saw here.

Nora rented Hobie a vintage convertible for his birthday. Quick, act cool!
Turns out I’ve been taking power steering for granted my whole life. It was a workout turning the steering wheel on those windy roads!
We visited Provence when the lavender fields were blooming.
We explored a lot of little towns in Provence
Another one of the towns
Wine on our last day. SAD!
